There will be silence.
There will be no more conversation, no soft spoken words murmured across hundreds of miles. No, there will be silence for longer than there have been sounds, for longer than there has been truth murmured across a faceless darkness.
There are no more words for now. The last admission of feelings has been said, the last promise of future plans have been set. Now we wait. Now we see where we will be when the future means today.
There is more between us than an ocean.
Still, we will stop skipping stones over the sea, making ripples in the tide with the wind of sighs and the salt of tears. Until tomorrow is a matter of ours, there will be silence.
